August 21st is national Senior Citizen’s Day, and we would like to take a moment to share our appreciation and gratitude towards them. Without our community’s senior citizen volunteers, our programs such as Seniors Helping Seniors would not be possible.
Thank you to those who help within our community, and those who are not able to but wished they could. We appreciate all of your generosity and dedication!
We are pleased to announce that our Men’s Group Counselling program will be running again this coming fall, 2023!
The program is open to all individuals that identify as male, runs for an eight week period, and helps males with a wide array of life’s issues. A Registered Clinical Counsellor will be running this program.
What a fantastic way to celebrate 50 years of Summit Community Services Society. Thank you to all who stopped by to celebrate with us! Tom Shypitka, Wayne Stetski – Cranbrook City Council, Columbia Basin Trust, Community Connections Society of Southeast BC, and Cranbrook Townsman. None of this could have been possible without the continued support from our communities and generous funders. We cannot thank you enough.
Everyone seemed to have so much fun celebrating this day with fun games and delicious cake. We can’t wait to see what the next 50 years have in store for us!
