Little Summit Daycare

Little Summit Daycare is a $10-a-day childcare centre in Cranbrook, BC, offering two programs:
👶 Care for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months)
🧒 Early learning for children ages 3–5

At Little Summit, we believe children learn best through play, curiosity, and real-world experiences. We follow their interests and create engaging activities that spark imagination, build confidence, and support development.

You’ll often find us out exploring—visiting local parks, discovering our neighbourhood, stopping by the library for new stories, or even checking out the animals at the pet store. Every day is an opportunity to learn, connect, and have fun!

We also recognize that every child—and every family—is unique. Our approach is flexible, inclusive, and focused on meeting each child’s individual needs in a warm and supportive environment.

First Steps Daycare

First Steps Daycare is a licensed, nurturing childcare program for infants and toddlers from birth to 36 months (3 years) in Kimberley, BC.

In this early stage of life, every moment matters. Our caring educators create a safe and supportive environment where little ones can explore, grow, and develop at their own pace. We spend as much time as possible outdoors—enjoying fresh air, play, music, and activities that support each child’s unique stage of development.

Through songs, movement, play, and connection, we help build strong foundations for learning, confidence, and well-being.

Second Steps Daycare

Second Steps Daycare is a licensed, $10-a-day, all-inclusive childcare program in Kimberley, BC, welcoming children from 30 months to school age.

In our nurturing and supportive environment, children learn and grow through play, connection, and discovery. Guided by the BC Early Learning Framework, we create opportunities for meaningful social and educational experiences that help build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Through play-based learning, children explore the world around them, develop friendships, and strengthen important life skills—all while feeling safe, valued, and supported.
