Join the Summit Board of Directors
Summit Community Services Society is currently seeking passionate community members to join our Board of Directors. As a long-standing non-profit organization serving Cranbrook, Kimberley, Marysville, and surrounding communities, Summit is dedicated to supporting individuals and families through accessible, client-centred programs and services. From childcare and after-school programs to victim support services and seniors programming, Summit continues to grow and evolve alongside the needs of our communities.
We Are Looking For
We are currently welcoming applications for 2 volunteer board positions, ideally from individuals with:
- Finance or accounting experience
- Administrative or minute-taking experience
- Lived experience connected to our areas of service
- An interest in nonprofit governance and community leadership
What to Expect
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Participate in committee work as needed
- Collaborate with a dedicated and supportive team
- Help guide the future direction of Summit Community Services Society
Virtual participation options are available. Board terms are three years.
